Springing Forward with Community: A Week in BIP100

As we step forward into Spring, the energy feels bright and promising. It’s my favourite time of year, a time of renewal and connection. I feel like wrapping myself up in bunnies, daffodils, and chocolate!

But before I dive into the joys of the season, let me share with you the highlights of this fantastic week at BIP100. It’s been a time filled with warmth, learning, and so many reasons why this community continues to thrive.

Welcoming New Members
We are thrilled to welcome the incredible Ben Kench, Mr Selling with Heart! Ben is an inspiring coach, author of Selling for Dummies, and a true advocate of selling with kindness. His approach moves away from fast, transactional selling and focuses on building relationships that are gentle, warm, and truly supportive – particularly for small businesses. We are so happy to have you, Ben!

The Power of Meditation
Thank you to Sharon Eden for leading Monday’s Meditation at 7:30am. Meditation is such a powerful way to start the week with clarity and calm. And, thanks to Craig, there’s now a Sunday evening meditation on BIP DOSE to help us all enter the week with peace and purpose. Keep an eye out for updates in the BIP WhatsApp Community!

Unlocking Financial Flow
Our gratitude also goes to Lesley Thomas, who led this week’s FLOW Session. Lesley is a powerhouse when it comes to helping us heal our relationship with money and building a brighter financial future. Her work on Your Sacred Money Archetypes drew an amazing 22 BIPPers to her session, and it’s clear why – her insights are transformational.

Social Connection
Wednesday brought us a fantastic lunch in Surrey, paired with a beautiful pre-lunch walk. Held at our gorgeous hub, the Onslow Arms, we had 16 BIPPers gather, including special visits from Alison Charles, Andrew Morgan, and Colin McGregor- Paterson. Remember, you’re always welcome to attend these events and soak up the unique atmosphere of different locations!

Skills & Learning
On Thursday, we had the pleasure of learning from Adam Mangan in his Skills Session. He guided us through a Business Health Check, SWOT process, and Competitive Analysis, providing tools for us to take our businesses to the next level. And, as a delightful bonus, Nick Swan shared his fascinating experience with AI. Don’t miss the recording when it’s available!

BIP Book Club Returns
Exciting news! The BIP Book Club is back, thanks to the leadership of John Small and Ian McCleave, who are co-leading this brilliant sub-community. We’re kicking things off with nominations for the April/May Factual Book, and it’s all about bringing together those who love to read and share insights. Looking forward to seeing this community thrive once again!

Upcoming Events
We’ve got a brilliant month ahead. Make sure you check out April’s Events and, if you’re attending Hannah Power’s event on April 4th, you’re in for a transformative experience. It’s all about refining your personal brand, maximising AI for growth, and enhancing your strategy, systems, and self-development.

And don’t forget our two annual parties – the Summer Party on 28th August and the Christmas Party on 18th December. Partners are welcome, and we’d love to see you all there!

Ponderings on Community & Networking
I’ve been reflecting on the harmony between community and networking. It’s something I believe is at the very core of BIP100 – the ability to build deep, meaningful connections rather than surface-level contacts. If you’d like to read more, please do check out my latest pondering. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Thank you to all the BIPPers for being such a wonderful, supportive, and contributing community. As we close March and step fully into April, Thomas and I are excited to continue this beautiful journey with them

With love,

Penny & Thomas
